I have been trying to figure out just what does immigration reform mean. The politicians in Washington say we need immigration reform, the people in this country illegally say we need immigration reform. Don’t we already have a immigration policy? We have laws that say you must apply with the proper authorities in which ever country you are from to receive permission and proper documentation to enter in to the United States if you are not a US citizen.

The most eligible person to vote for mayor in this coming Manila election,  is one of the most accomplished mayors in Manila’s rich political history. The Atienza administration is best described by the dramatic transformation in the city’s economy, tourism, peace and order and education. He succeeded in addressing almost all the social needs of his people by creating programs for housing, healthcare, peace and order, education, sports, arts and culture, nature and environment and welfare of senior citizens. more…

We have laws that gives the Federal Government the authority to arrest and deport people who do not follow the immigration rules and enter the United States illegally without the proper permission or those who over stay their Visas. So I am confused as to just what the people here illegally are protesting about. What do they want in immigration reform?

I suspect it is different ideas depending on who you talk to. The people who are here illegally and are protesting for reform I suspect just want the Federal Government of the US to just make them all legal citizens right now and bring as many people that they want from their county to the US and make them legal citizens as well, right now. They do not want any rules or laws, just make them legal citizens.

If you ask these people what about all the people before them that have gone through the proper channels and entered US legally and are waiting in line to become US citizens I suspect they would say they don’t care, those people are stupid for following the rules and laws of the US. Why should anyone from another country follow any US rules or laws, just enter the US any way you can and demand to be made a legal citizen. It apparently is working for the 12 to 20 million people that have entered the US illegally. Immigration reform to the politician in Washington apparently means a blanket amnesty to all. If you ask the politicians what about the people who are waiting in line to enter legally they say they cannot be bothered with that problem.

If you ask the politicians after making millions of illegal aliens legal what about the next 10, 20, 30 million or more who enter illegally, the politicians say that won’t happen, they are going to beef up border security and enforce it——REALLY, isn’t that what President Regan said when he gave blanket amnesty for just a few million last time? Now we have two or three times the number of illegals than we did during the last round of amnesty. I see that border enforcement worked well. The only reason that the Politicians in Washington want to give the millions of people here illegally amnesty is because the politicians think all these people are going to vote for them on the next election, to hell with rules and laws of the US they just want to get reelected.

So where do we stand. The illegals want amnesty now, the politicians want to give them amnesty now and we have another 75 million people standing at the borders wanting to get their feet on US soil and demand amnesty. We are screwed!!!!

There is one other name that can be given to the illegal aliens that are protesting and demanding amnesty, squatters. It is not a bad plan when you think about it, just get as many people as you can in to another country and knowing that the countries government is not going to do anything about it, just take over the country, No armed conflict, no shots fired–the perfect plan.
